This class is an alternative approach to developing database independant code, which differs from modules that write SQL for you (such as DBIx::Recordset). Instead this module provides an OO inheritance hierarchy for putting methods that do your SQL. For example, you create a Default.pm file (in the class hierarchy of your choosing, for example My::Application::DB::Default), which contains your default platform's SQL methods. Then you can provide an Oracle.pm, a Sybase.pm, etc, that implement methods where a particular SQL statement in Default.pm doesn't work on that platform. DBIx::AnyDBD knows what platform you are connecting to, and calls the right methods in the right class at runtime. DBIx::AnyDBD also does the right thing on ADO and ODBC connections, so that if you're connecting to Sybase via ODBC, it doesn't just call methods in the ODBC.pm file, it will call those in Sybase.pm instead.
